I used Play-doh to create mock up models of my lipstick. It enabled me to think about sizing and dimensions. One of the design considerations for the USB is to create a recess for the PCB to lie in. I used layers of card to visualise how this would look. Further along, I will need to decide whether I will use the full circuit board or the shortened version.
